Amanda Gregory

My name is Amanda Gregory and I live in Sutton Benger. I have always had a keen interest in photography and would call myself a ‘travelling photographer’ as I like to travel around, anywhere in the world really, and photograph what I see; people, places, architecture, plants and animals too.

I belong to a couple of camera clubs based in Lacock, which is the home of photography as we know it due to Henry Fox-Talbot, the inventor of the kind of photography we use nowadays, he lived in Lacock Abbey and is also buried in Lacock too. All the photographs shown here were shot in North Wiltshire over the past couple of years or so. In case anyone is interested I use a Cannon 6D MkII and a variety of Cannon lenses’.

If you would like more information on my photography please contact me via email at enquiries@bengerarts.org

A Poem by local resident Patrick Beck

Chris Blake

I have always loved to draw and paint since I was very young – in fact, my first painting exhibit was in a Swindon schools event when I was six!
As an adult, being a wife and a working Mum, my artistic pursuits took a back seat.  I returned to painting in my forties, first concentrating on watercolours but during the last decade I have preferred pastels and oils.  The selection I have submitted here is a mixture of both with one pen and wash thrown.
I particularly enjoy painting wildlife, especially birds but also like the occasional landscape which allows me to be a little less detailed.
I hope you enjoy this small selection.
Chris Blake.
